Sprints have announced their second album 'All That Is Over' with new single 'Descartes'

SPRINTS have announced their second album 'All That Is Over', set for release on 26th September via City Slang worldwide and Sub Pop in North America - marking their first release with the legendary Seattle label.

The Irish four-piece have also shared new single 'Descartes' alongside news of an extensive UK and European tour, including their biggest London headline show to date at Troxy.

"Descartes was written on a plane while reading Outline by Rachel Cusk," explains Karla Chubb of SPRINTS. "Sparked directly from the line 'Vanity is the curse of our culture', the rest of the song spilled out of me quite instantaneously. Descartes explores the idea of needing to write and create as a means of survival, not just a means of expression, and how important that is to me as a person to try to understand and process the world around me."

The new album follows their debut 'Letter To Self', released in January 2024, and includes 'Abandon', 'To The Bone', 'Descartes', 'Need', 'Beg', 'Rage', 'Something's Gonna Happen', 'Pieces', 'Better', 'Coming Alive', and 'Desire'.
