Charli xcx has shared a new single called ‘SS26’, alongside a new video directed by Torso and conceptualised by Charli herself.
Shot in Paris, the visual features appearances from figures across fashion, music and creative culture including Anthony Vaccarello, Carine Roitfeld, Abra, Baby Deva and Loïc Prigent.
‘SS26’ will appear on Charli’s forthcoming new album alongside previously revealed track ‘Rock Music’, though further details surrounding the record have yet to be confirmed.
The video continues Charli’s increasingly collaborative visual approach, with longtime creative partner Imogene Strauss serving as creative director, alongside styling from Chris Horan and movement direction by Eric Christison.
The release follows another huge stretch for Charli after the runaway success of ‘BRAT’, with the artist continuing to expand her world across music, fashion and visual art.
The Liverpool songwriter extends her debut album universe with a four-track collection of murder ballads.
