Suki Waterhouse has unveiled plans for
'Loveland', a 14-track album arriving on 10th July through Island Records. The record marks her first release on the label following her move from SubPop, where she put out 2024's '
Memoir of a Sparklemuffin'.
Assembled alongside a roster of collaborators that includes
Aaron Dessner, Amy Allen, Joel Little, Dan Wilson, and longstanding creative partners
Jules Apollinaire and
Natalie Findlay, 'Loveland' explores themes of identity and transformation.
Speaking about the album, Waterhouse said: "Loveland to me lives in the distance between a former self who felt most alive in romance, fantasy and momentum, and a present self reaching for something steadier, more intimate and more true. That split is deepened by motherhood, and by the strange feeling of becoming someone new while still carrying the shape of who you were before."
The album's lead single '
Back in Love' is already out, with a second single '
Tiny Raisin' due this Friday. Waterhouse is also set to return to the Lollapalooza stage in Chicago this summer, with additional live dates expected to follow.
