The 1975’s Ross MacDonald and PVRIS’ Brian MacDonald have begun their 1,100-mile charity cycle across the UK
The iconic route will be completed over two weeks for Nordoff and Robbins.

Ross MacDonald and Brian MacDonald, bassists from The 1975 and PVRIS have joined forces for a gruelling two-week cycling challenge spanning the length of the UK, raising money for Nordoff and Robbins, the country's largest music therapy charity.
Accompanied by friends Darren and Matt, the pair have departed from Land's End to begin the iconic LEJOG route. Their destination is John O'Groats, some 1,100 miles north at the tip of mainland Scotland. The group expect to tackle up to 100 miles per day across a wide range of terrain and weather. Music and live entertainment marketplace GigPig have supplied custom jerseys for the journey.
Nordoff and Robbins have spent more than 60 years developing their unique approach to music therapy, supporting people ranging from adults with dementia reconnecting with loved ones to autistic children finding their voice. Training a single music therapist through the charity takes two years and costs £19,000, and the riders are collecting donations through fundraising platform Enthuse with the aim of funding as many new therapists as possible.
