The Strokes have announced ‘Reality Awaits’, their first album since 2020, with new track ‘Going Shopping’
Their seventh album arrives in June via Cult Records and RCA Records.

The Strokes are back with 'Going Shopping', their first new material since 2020's 'The New Abnormal'. The track arrives alongside the announcement of a seventh studio album, 'Reality Awaits', due on 26th June through Cult Records/RCA Records.
Producer Rick Rubin helmed the recording sessions for the album, which took place in Costa Rica before being completed at various locations around the world. The record follows the band's extensive global touring in support of their previous album.
A busy run of live appearances lies ahead for the New York City five-piece. Festival headline slots at Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Japan's Summer Sonic 2026 all feature on the calendar, with performances at Coachella kicking things off imminently.
