The Wombats are ‘Ready For The High’ with their brand new single

The track is the latest taster of fifth album 'Fix Yourself, Not The World'.

The Wombats have shared another new track from their forthcoming fifth studio album ‘Fix Yourself, Not The World’.

Titled ‘Ready For The High’, frontman Murph explains: ‘’Ready for the High’ is a 90’s inspired track that I was excited to toss a load of trumpets into. The song is about being engulfed in a bad place, but rather than accepting this as immutable, acknowledging that it is only temporary and that better times are closer than they (currently) appear.”

The track follows up on previous single ‘If You Ever Leave, I’m Coming With You’ in previewing the upcoming full-length, which is set to arrive on 7th January 2022 via AWAL.

With that done, The Wombats will head out on a huge arena tour in April 2022, including a night at London’s O2 and a three night stand at Liverpool’s Mountford Hall.

You can check out ‘Ready For The High’ below. A video for the track will premiere at 6pm BST today.
