VLURE have unleashed their new single 'Between Dreams', from debut album 'Escalate'
Co-produced with Manni Dee, the track arrives with a Parklands-shot video.

VLURE have released a new single, 'Between Dreams', the latest preview of their debut album 'Escalate', due 26th September on Music For Nations.
Described as a propulsive, trance-infused track, 'Between Dreams' was co-produced by Manni Dee and the band’s Conor Goldie, and arrives with a video directed by James Price, filmed at Parklands, a wooded area outside Glasgow.
Speaking about the track, Conor Goldie says: “‘Between Dreams’ is my inner monologue from a moment in time. The lyrics are both metaphorical and a physical description of me running through the east end of Glasgow, retracing my footsteps from mad nights partying… Ultimately in the last chorus, there’s a realisation that I have already found my place, and it was not where I thought I was running to, it has always been here, in Glasgow with my family and my best mates… So aye, it’s a party tune about reclaiming the beauty of your own life. There’s love, life and light in what we see as mundane, when times are shit, consider this yer call to arms to remember that. Keep the faith.”
Detailing the video and its setting, bassist Niall Goldie adds: “Parklands is a home between homes for my girlfriend’s family. They had only recently sold their farm and were beginning their next chapter at the new house. The grounds snake off into seemingly endless different paths. If you go one way you’ll end up by the viaducts; and if you go the other you’ll end up at a monument for Rabbie Burns. There was something haunting about the solitary location of the house. I felt that added to the video in a very meaningful way.”
