While Slam Dunk may have packed the Bank Holiday weekend with a killer line up in Leeds, Hatfield and Wolverhampton, it wasn’t the only festival taking place with some pretty big rock bands on the bill. BBC Radio 1 held their Big Weekend in Norwich - with a line-up including Foo Fighters, Muse, Fall Out Boy, Mallory Knox and Lower Than Atlantis. Foo Fighters kick off their UK tour tonight at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, before playing Manchester’s Emirates Old Trafford (that’s the cricket ground) and Slane Castle in Ireland. They’ll then be back next month for two nights at Wembley Stadium and a final date at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, before headlining Glastonbury.
