Welly have announced their debut album
'Big In The Suburbs'.
News of the record, set for release on 21st March 2025, arrives alongside its title-track and accompanying video, which sees Welly playing a disinterested talent show judge.
The Southampton-born artist describes the new track as "Suburban surf-rock. (Feeding-the-ducks-indie?)," explaining: "This is the market stall for the album, the contents page, the intro sequence, the theme song. Think the intro to 'Thomas The Tank Engine', we meet our motley crew in each verse - the neighbours, the foul families, the love interests, the ugly pets."
The self-produced album follows a series of singles including '
Shopping', '
Soak Up The Culture', '
Deere John', and 'Cul-De-Sac', and will see them headlining Dork's Hype List tour in February 2025.
