Wet Leg have announced their second album ‘moisturizer’ with 10/10 new single ‘catch these fists’

Isle of Wight band Wet Leg reveal their second album ‘moisturizer’ will release in July.

Artists: Wet Leg

Wet Leg have announced their second album ‘moisturizer’, set for release on 11th July, alongside sharing new single ‘catch these fists’.

The Isle of Wight five-piece, founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers and completed by Ellis Durand, Henry Holmes, and Joshua Mobaraki, recorded the album with producer Dan Carey. The new record marks the first time all five members have contributed writing credits.

“We were just kind of having fun and exploring,” Chambers explains of the writing process, which took place in Southwold during March 2024. “We focussed on: Is this going to be fun to play live? It was very natural that we would write the second record together,” adds Teasdale.

The album’s lead single ‘catch these fists’ arrives accompanied by a self-directed video filmed on the Isle of Wight, drawing inspiration from directors Ti West and Cameron Crowe, as well as the band’s own ‘Wet Dream’ video.

The twelve-track album includes songs titled ‘CPR’, ‘liquidize’, ‘davina mccall’, ‘jennifer’s body’, ‘mangetout’, ‘pond song’, ‘pokemon’, ‘pillow talk’, ‘don’t speak’, ’11:21′, and ‘u and me at home’.
