Will Butler joins forces with Sister Squares for a new single, 'Willows'
The band have been touring together since 2015, and now, with 'Willows', they're officially collaborators.
Former Arcade Fire member Will Butler has just released a new single, 'Willows', with his new band Sister Squares.
"Nostalgia is sweet, but it's a poison," Butler explains of the track. "The scene of the song is someone driving off into the wilderness to meet an old woman—one of the Fates, like in a folk tale. And maybe he wants to be young again, or wants things back the way they used to be. And she says: Anything can happen, for a price."
The band have been touring together since 2015, and now, with 'Willows', they're officially collaborators. Will has also confirmed a string of European and UK tour dates later this year.
