Yungblud has unveiled three new songs during a surprise intimate show at London's Scala.

The Doncaster artist performed a four-song set at the King's Cross venue, which included his latest single 'Hello Heaven, Hello' alongside three previously unheard tracks. The new material marks Yungblud's first new music since 2024's 'Breakdown'.

"It's fucking good to be back," Yungblud told the crowd before asking, "Are you ready to hear some songs off the new record?" The set included debut performances of 'Lovesick Lullaby', 'Zombie', and 'Ghosts'.
Speaking to Apple Music about his upcoming album, Yungblud explained his musical influences for the record. "I've been listening to a lot of, old-old school music, going back to people like Bonnie Raitt and Linda Ronstadt and Led Zeppelin and kind of even Elton John," he said. "Rock is my genre. I feel like I've been dabbling in many different things and trying to twist rock, but I feel like at the minute it's exciting because rock music feels spherical… it needed to sound big, it needed to sound cinematic."

The artist described his forthcoming album as a "cultural reset," explaining that the mantra of the record would be: "Come together, look each other in the eye, be human."

Yungblud is set to headline the second edition of Bludfest this summer, with Chase Atlantic, Denzel Curry, Blackbear, Rachel Chinouriri, and Peach PRC also appearing on the bill.
