About AJ Tracey
Ché Wolton Grant, known professionally as AJ Tracey, is a British rapper and record producer from Ladbroke Grove, London. He gained popularity in 2016 and was included in The Guardian's list of "best new acts to catch at festivals" that year. His fifth extended play, Secure the Bag! (2017), reached number 13 on the UK Albums Chart. His 2018 single, "Butterflies" (featuring Not3s), became his first charting hit, reaching the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. His self-titled debut album, released in 2019, received critical acclaim and peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart. The album's lead single, "Ladbroke Grove," peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart and was certified platinum by the BPI. AJ Tracey has collaborated with artists including Aitch, Dave, D-Block Europe, Digga D, Giggs, Mabel, Mahalia, MoStack, Skepta, Nelly Furtado, and his cousin Big Zuu.
