About Charly Bliss
Charly Bliss is an American power pop band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2011. The band consists of siblings Eva Hendricks (lead vocals, guitar) and Sam Hendricks (drums), along with lead guitarist Spencer Fox and bassist Dan Shure. They have released three studio albums: Guppy (2017), Young Enough (2019), and Forever (2024). The band's music has been described as "bubblegrunge," a combination of bubblegum pop and grunge. Pitchfork noted that Guppy evokes an era from approximately 20 years prior, characterized by bands with a sun-drenched, blissful sound suitable for soundtracks such as those for the films 10 Things I Hate About You or Jawbreaker.
