Dua Lipa is an English singer and songwriter born on 22 August 1995. She initially worked as a model before signing with Warner Bros. Records in 2014. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2017 and reached number three on the UK Albums Chart. The album included singles such as 'Be the One', 'IDGAF', and the UK number-one hit 'New Rules'. In 2018, she received Brit Awards for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. Her collaboration with Calvin Harris on 'One Kiss' became the best-selling song of 2018 in the UK and earned the Brit Award for Song of the Year. Lipa won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording for 'Electricity' featuring Silk City in 2019. Her second album, Future Nostalgia, released in 2020, became her first UK number-one album and reached the top three in the US.
