Imagine Dragons are an American pop rock band formed in 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band consists of lead singer Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, and bassist Ben McKee. Their debut single, 'It's Time', was released in February 2012 and reached the Top 20 on various charts worldwide. Their debut album, Night Visions, was released in September 2012 and included the singles 'Radioactive' and 'Demons', which topped charts and contributed to the album reaching No. 2 in the United States. The album achieved Platinum sales by June 2013. 'Radioactive' held the record for most weeks charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Rolling Stone named it the "biggest rock hit of the year." MTV called the band "the year's biggest breakout band," and Billboard named them their "Breakthrough Band of 2013" and "Biggest Band of 2017." The band was also ranked at the top of Billboard's "Year in Rock" for 2013, 2017, and 2018. Their second studio album, Smoke + Mirrors, released in 2015, reached number one in the US, Canada, and the UK.
