'Thinking' by Against The Current is a 2012 track in which the speaker wrestles with sudden uncertainty after a relationship turns from sure footing to doubt. The lyrics trace a held hand that never lets go, then pivot into confusion, with the refrain-level emphasis landing on being “got” into thinking about the other person. There is also a pleading, reactive edge, as the narrator asks whether the other party planned it from the start, and urges time to be taken, refusing to wait through another night.
