Lyrics

Classic

(Wooah)

AJR

Slim chance we would meet again

Romance is not my thing you know that

The classic lovers fun

The hand that was dealt to you

By the sands of a beach

I lost directions to

It's my judgement on the run

My highest aspirations

Would have never been prepared

The beauty of this was the simplest kiss

Sound of the pain if you leavin'

Let's gettin' deceivin'

Then I will be there cause'

Ahh, in your classic way

Ahh, in your classic way

I been hangin' around this place

A little more than I should

But then you know that

It's written on my sunburned face

The hand that was dealt to me

Would turn my life around

And be performing my downfall classically

You're my beauty's grace

My highest aspirations

Would have never been prepared

The beauty of this was the simplest kiss

And I'm dodging you wanna be too hard to kiss

Sound of pain if you leavin'

What's gettin' deceivin'

Then I will be there wooah

Ahh, in your classic way

Ahh, in your classic way

Slim chance we would meet again

Romance is not my thing you know that

The classic lovers' fun

My highest aspirations

Would have never been prepared

The beauty of this was the simplest kiss

And at timesy your manna be too hard to kiss

Sound of pain if you leavin'

What's gettin' deceivin'

Then I will be there wooah

Ahh, ahh, in your classic way

Ahh, (no no no) in your classic way

Ahh (woo), (woo) in your classic way

What mxmtoon’s ‘i hate texas’ is about, and why she made its video herself

mxmtoon’s 2024 single turns a break-up into a deliberately over-the-top escape plan, while its self-made video reconnects her music with the informal online creativity that came first.
