He drifted mindlessly through day after day, lost inside of a labyrinth of a world that no longer made sense without Emily

One foggy night, Arlie pulled up to the tomb-like cave he had chosen as his campsite

He sat in the silence, and let the grief wash over him like a wave, no longer running or trying to fight it

He was done trying to decode the world, done playing detective

As he pulled the key out of thе ignition, the car radio crackled to life, with a sweet voicе just on the edge of static

"Arlie, you're finally listening. I've been trying to reach you."
