Lyrics

MISUNDERSTOOD

Running through the list of things I say
All the ways I teach 'em through the gray
Thought I made it really clear, but they downplay it all again

Losing count of all their rolling eyes
I'm not special, I'm just trying to sustain
Not looking for a way to justify, a way I can explain

I feel so misunderstood
Like a cat in a bag and I cannot get out, but I wish that I could
Got me feeling so mad, it's just making me sad
'Cause I tried everything I could to make you see the things you should
I feel so misunderstood, I feel so, I feel so

Misunderstood
Misunderstood

Running through my list of things to do
Always thought that someone would pull through
But the answer's still the same, the little things I can't explain

I don't wanna waste nobody's time
I'm not special, I'm just trying to sustain
Not looking for a way to justify, a way I can explain

I feel so (so, so) misunderstood
Like a cat in a bag And I cannot get out, but I wish that I could
Got me feeling so mad, it's just making me sad
'Cause I tried everything I could to make you see the things you should
I feel so misunderstood, I feel so, I feel so
