About This Track

'Conditional' by Bilmuri is an alternative track from the album 'Letters' (2016). The lyrics pin a relationship on terms that never hold, with the singer portraying love as transactional and false. Lines such as “Your love is conditional” frame devotion as conditional at best, and disposal at worst, as the narrator pleads to become good enough while describing being used up until there is nothing left. The mood is bleakly resentful, and the repeated refrain of conditional love turns the song into a grim audit of what affection demands.

"Conditional" is a track by Bilmuri, from the album Letters, released 21st November 2016. The track is 2:42 long. It's filed under Alternative. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 1 article about Bilmuri.

Lyrics

Conditional

Your love is conditional
Your love is conditional
Your love is conditional
It isn't real, real, real

I feel so dead inside
I feel to die

I keep trying to work for your love
I'm still dying to be good enough
Throw me away with the dirt on the floor
Use me up till I have no more

Your love is conditional
Your love is conditional
Your love is conditional
It isn't real, real, real

Why do I work for the love?
When I know that you'll say, I'm enough
That I'm enough

I keep trying to work for your love
I'm still dying to be good enough
Throw me away with the dirt on the floor
Use me up till I have no more
