About This Track
'Gradient' by Bilmuri is an alternative track from the album 'Solid Chub', released in 2018. The lyrics spell out a brittle loneliness, with the speaker feeling abandoned and “forgotten”, even turning inward in self-reproach. Across the verses, there is a sense of being left behind, watching familiar people disappear, and then coping by pouring feeling into words. The image of ghosts passing through and the need for attention keeps the tone raw and urgent, ending on doubt that the problem is simply the speaker themselves.
"Gradient" is a single by Bilmuri, from the album Solid Chub, released 16th March 2018. The track is 2:01 long. It's filed under Alternative. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 2 articles about Bilmuri.
About the Artist
Lyrics
I hate being so alone When everyone I'd know is gone And they all just leave me like ghosts Passing through me I pour my blood into my hands For just enough attention I pour my soul into these words 'Cause I feel forgotten Maybe it's just me and I'm so fucked up Maybe you can't see that I'm so fucked up I feel the cold against my heart again Want to pack up and leave Wonder if it'll ever end, ever end Maybe it's just me and I'm so fucked up Maybe you can't see that I'm so fucked up Maybe you can't see that I'm so fucked up
