'So Broken' by Björk is a 1997 track from the album 'Jóga'. The lyrics are saturated with breakup hurt, with lines that lean into fragmentation and the odd compulsion to outrun pain, as in the image of a “heart-break-train”. A simple, repetitive chorus underscores the emotional state, returning to the same blunt verdict, while the verses turn that feeling into motion, trying to move forward, only to keep circling back to being broken.
"So Broken" is a track by Björk, from the album Jóga, released 20th September 1997. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 4 articles about Björk.
