About This Track

'idfc' by blackbear is a 2015 R&B/Soul track from the album 'deadroses'. The lyrics cast a deliberately defiant, half-bored attitude towards a partner’s dishonesty and disarray, with the singer insisting that the pretty lies and the chaotic behaviour barely register, even as the other person seems unsteady and incoherent, as the hook puts it: 'Tell me pretty lies'. It is an abrasive, confrontational listen, built around romantic contempt and emotional detachment.

"idfc" is a track by blackbear, from the album deadroses, released 14th February 2015. The track is 4:05 long. It's filed under R&B/Soul. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 1 article about blackbear.

Lyrics

idfc

Tell me pretty lies
Look me in the face
Tell me that you love me
Even if it's fake
'Cause I don't fucking care, at all

You've been out all night
I don't know where you've been
You're slurring all your words
Not making any sense
But I don't fucking care, at all

'Cause I have hella feelings for you
I act like I don't fucking care
Like they ain't even there
'Cause I have hella feelings for you
I act like I don't fucking care
'Cause I'm so fucking scared

I'm only a fool for you
And maybe you're too good for me
I'm only a fool for you
But I don't fucking care, at all

Tell me pretty lies
Look me in the face
Tell me that you love me
Even if it's fake
'Cause I don't fucking care, at all

You've been out all night
I don't know where you've been
You're slurring all your words
Not making any sense
But I don't fucking care, at all

'Cause I have hella feelings for you
I act like I don't fucking care
Like they ain't even there
'Cause I have hella feelings for you
I act like I don't fucking care
'Cause I'm so fucking scared

I'm only a fool for you
And maybe you're too good for me
I'm only a fool for you
But I don't fucking care, at all
