Lyrics

Masquerade

Distorted and broken, a fractured facade

The curtain is falling, the surface will break

Your face became a mask and the mask became your friend

We all become what we pretend to be

The mirrors shows the enemy!

This is my reckoning!

Ripping of your second skin

This is my reckoning!

No mask can hide the devil within

Devil inside!

You can’t fucking hide

Devil inside!

Unravel your mind

Devil inside!

No more fucking lies

Devil inside!

Sever your ties

Break out from this masquerade before we fade away

We are losing who we are!

Unmask your hidden hate

Wash it all away and heal your hollow heart!

With fake love and a plastic heart, your dead eyes shining dark

These blurred lines do not define who you really are!

I left the past behind - look deep inside

We all become what we pretend to be

The mirrors shows the enemy!

This is my reckoning!

Ripping of your second skin

This is my reckoning!

No mask can hide the devil within

Devil inside!

You can’t fucking hide

Devil inside!

Unravel your mind

Devil inside!

No more fucking lies

Devil inside!

Sever your ties

Break out from this masquerade before we fade away

We are losing who we are!

Unmask your hidden hate

Wash it all away and heal your hollow heart!

Break away

There’s nothing to it

It may be hard, but no excuses!

Fix the broken

Breaking away ‘cause you are free!

Breaking away 'cause you are free!

Who do you want to be?!

Breaking away 'cause you are free!

Break out from this masquerade before we fade away

We are losing who we are!

Unmask your hidden hate

Wash it all away and heal your hollow heart!
