About This Track

'Plan B' by Coco Jones is an R&B/Soul track from the album 'What I Didn’t Tell You (Deluxe)'. Released in 2023, it finds the singer laying out a bruised, pragmatic refusal to be anyone’s fallback, with the lyrics returning to a theme of promises that turn sour, “Whenever we play this game”. The vocal stance is wary and resentful, describing emotional reversals and demand for accountability, then ending on the hard note of someone giving too much and then switching up.

"Plan B" is a track by Coco Jones, from the album What I Didn’t Tell You (Deluxe), released 20th January 2023. The track is 3:16 long. It's filed under R&B/Soul. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 2 articles about Coco Jones.

Lyrics

Plan B

Ah, ah
Ah, ah
Boy, if you need someone, don't let me know
I don't wanna build you up and you leave me low
Yeah
Whenever we play this game
It never goes my way
I don't need the memories
Don't even mean what you say
You broke the shit, go fix it
Give me it all, then switch up on me
Yeah, you got me twisted
See what I want to see, but I don't know
Talking but it's no show
You know how to turn me on
And take it 'til it's all gone
We gon' see
What you really on
Tell me what you want
Keep it G
If you think I'm dumb
Go on and leave me 'lone
Know that D
Know it's dangerous
But I wanna touch
No plan B
If I'm not the one
I don't wanna come
No plan B
I already know them other girls on you
They ain't like me at all
Always wanna be out in them streets
Then you wanna come back home
I be saying, "Talk is cheap"
Only do expensive things, yeah
Really be the same old speech
But it ain't gonna work this week
You broke the shit, go fix it
Give me it all, then switch up on me
Yeah, you got me twisted
See what I want to see, but I don't know
Talking but it's no show
You know how to turn me on
Take it 'til it's all gone
We gon' see
What you really on
Tell me what you want
Keep it G
If you think I'm dumb
Go on and leave me 'lone
Know that D
Know it's dangerous
But I wanna touch
No plan B
If I'm not the one
I don't wanna come
No plan B
No plan B
