About This Track

'worn' finds Corbin caught between desire and self-preservation. The track pivots between a pleading first verse, where he asks for reciprocal attention, and a second that flips the dynamic entirely, asserting control and indifference. He moves from vulnerability to swagger, the emotional register shifting as sharply as the production beneath it. The song's architecture hinges on this reversal. Early on, Corbin positions himself as the one waiting, the one invested; by the second half, he's the one with leverage, the one who "got you in my song". It's a study in how quickly intimacy can curdle into power play, how easily tenderness becomes a weapon. The repetition of "wouldn't you like that" in the interlude sits between these poles, a question that sounds increasingly hollow the more it's asked.
