Lyrics

Back & Forth

I'm living somebody else's dream
I'm flipping through it like a magazine
I watch it pass on a tiny screen
You won't believe everything I've seen

Baby, you have changed me
I can't escape, it drives me crazy
If everything is easy, nothing matters
You've got me bending over backwards, baby

I don't mind
Even when my hands are tied
I don't mind
Even if I'm hypnotized

I feel numb from head to toe
It doesn't matter if I come or go
You never answered yes or no
I'll be here waiting 'til you tell me so

Baby, you have changed me
I can't escape, it drives me crazy
If everything is easy, nothing matters
You've got me bending over backwards, baby

I try to bring it back, try not to let it slip away
I try to keep it close, but there is something in the way
I try to bring it back, try not to let it go
Try not to turn my back, I try to keep it close
Try not to let it go
I try to keep it close
Try not to let it go

I don't mind
Even when my hands are tied
I don't mind
Even if I'm hypnotized
