Feels Like Tonight - Track Commentary

This is probably one of the only songs that I've ever, uhm, really been angry about recording. Because, uhm, I didn't wanna do the song. It was a song that, uhm, that I found out was supposedly written for me, had I won American Idol. And, uhm, it just didn't feel like to me, it didn't feel like the rest of, of the record that I, that I was making at the time. And the label barely interfered with any of the recording process. But this song in particular, they kinda pushed me and pushed me, pushed me. And I remember, uhm, having a few words in the vocal booth before I started singing it. And after I was done, it kind of grew on me. And I was, uhm, kinda glad that they forced me to do it because it turned out to be one of our bigger hits.
