Lyrics

Drifter

[Intro]

Oh yeah, uh

[Verse 1]

I was born a rambling man

And I never get the chance to settle down

And get a hold on love

Taking air and moving around

Is all I can see that I'd be doing

And it is bringing me down, woo, uh

[Verse 2]

Driving on a highway

Going nowhere

Desolation destination

Guess I'll find it somewhere

I know if there's trouble

I ain't taking the blame

That's why I keep moving

So nobody knows my name, listen

[Chorus]

Born a loser, I'm beyond the law

Women behind me, never can find me

They can never get together, what I've been here for

'Cause I'm a drifter

[Guitar Solo]

[Chorus]

Born a loser, I'm beyond the law

Women behind me, never can find me

Born a loser, making me choose her

[Bridge]

Mm, hmm

Uh

[Guitar Solo]

[Outro]

Rolling on

Rolling on

Rolling on

Rolling on

Ain't wasting time no more

How Brixton Academy’s cinema beginnings still shape the room fans know today

From its sloping floor to its towering dome, O2 Academy Brixton’s live-music character is inseparable from the Astoria cinema that opened there in 1929.
