About This Track

‘MELANIE’ by Dizzy is a 2023 track in which the lyrics move between Swedish and English, painting a late-night hotel scene and a speaker who insists, in confidence rather than romance, “Eyes dont lie”. The intro leans into nightlife imagery and status details, while the bridge turns more person-specific, portraying a woman with money on her mind as the speaker compares himself to public figures and rejects trap-like temptations. The vocal tone is conversational, with repeated hooky phrases that keep the focus on swagger and perception.

"MELANIE" is a track by Dizzy, released 28th July 2023. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 3 articles about Dizzy.

Lyrics

MELANIE

[Intro]

20 läh natt i Grand Hotel

Svär jag känner mig som Vybz Kartel

In a white tee och en guld cordell

Ah yeah, ah yeah, ah yeah

[Brygga]

Eyes dont lie, I can tell my bella

Som hon gräver guld tror hon ser mig som en källa

Kalla mig Hakimi, faller inte för någon fälla

Ah yeah, ah yeah, ah yeah

[Refräng]

Kom och chilla här med en chef

Och sluta upp med dina dumheter

Du och jag har toppkemi

Oh melanie, oh melanie

Bez-bez-bez-bezan

Hon tömmer mina bez-bez-bez-bezan

Min ficka den är hennes framtidskran

Oh melanie, oh melanie

[Vers 1]

Bez-bez-bez-bez ah

Jag är strapped med en tokarev ah-ah-ah

1942 pop-poppar en ah (popp popp popp popp)

Kan inte stoppa den ah

[Brygga]

Eyes dont lie, i can tell my bella

Oh melanie, oh melanie

Kom och chilla här med en chef

Och sluta upp med dina dumheter

Du och jag har toppkemi

Oh melanie, oh melanie

Bez-bez-bez-bezan

Hon tömmer mina bez-bez-bez-bezan

Min ficka den är hennes framtidskran

Oh melanie oh melanie
