Lyrics

Dark

[Verse 1]

I'm holding onto hope

I'm hoping that it don't run out

'Cause I'm getting close

I can almost see them now

[Pre-Chorus]

No, it's never over, dust off my shoulders

'Til it all come crumbling

Call me the joker, I wouldn't blame ya

I'm not good at gambling

[Chorus]

Oh, living in a house of cards

Working for the queen of hearts

She won't ever let go, let go

'Til she's tearing me apart

Promised me the moon and stars

But all I ever got were these scars

Repeating like an echo, echo

[Post-Chorus]

'Til I'm burning in the dark

Dark

[Verse 2]

Need a little light

Even if it's just one flame

Don't gotta be bright

Honestly, that's all it takes

[Pre-Chorus]

No, it's never over, dust off my shoulders

'Til it all come crumbling (Oh)

Call me the joker, I wouldn't blame ya

I'm not good at gambling

[Chorus]

Oh, living in a house of cards

Working for the queen of hearts

She won't ever let go, let go

'Til she's tearing me apart

Promised me the moon and stars (Oh)

But all I ever got were these scars

Repeating like an echo, echo

[Post-Chorus]

'Til I'm burning in the dark (Burning in the dark)

Dark (Burning in the dark)

Burning in the dark
