About This Track

The opening verse sets a tone of romantic confusion and isolation, Ecco2k singing about falling for someone whilst trapped in a state of self-enclosure. The refrain turns on the image of starring and crossing eyes, a gesture of vulnerability or perhaps dissociation, paired with references to hydrogen peroxide and oxidising silver.
