About This Track

A horrorcore track from Eminem's ninth album 'Revival', released in December 2017. Produced by Fredwreck, the song samples C&K Vocal's 'Pilgrim' and adopts the tone and production style of Eminem's 2009 Relapse era, particularly recalling earlier horror-focused work like '3 a.m.' and 'Kim'. The track received a music video in April 2018 despite not being released as a single.

The lyrics construct a serial-killer narrative across three verses, each detailing a violent crime the narrator claims not to remember. Eminem raps the chorus from the perspective of someone protesting their innocence to police, insisting they've been framed despite mounting evidence. The verses escalate from home invasion to multiple murders, the narrator's memory gaps widening as the body count rises, the refrain of being set up growing less plausible with each new detail.
