About This Track

(G.E.M.) is a 2019 song from the album '摩天動物園 (City Zoo)'. The lyrics set a bittersweet, retrospective mood, framing a relationship as it reaches an emotional stopping point, with images such as a hummingbird that will not fly and the city falling silent. In the verses, the narrator looks back to earlier years, recalling first meetings, differences in confidence and adulthood, and the anxieties of growing up. They also reach out for reassurance, asking whether there is still longing and whether the other person has found a way to lose a little worry. One line encapsulates the finality: '一個句號'.

(Full Stop)" is a track by 鄧紫棋 (G.E.M.), from the album (City Zoo), released 21st November 2019. Full lyrics are available below.

Lyrics

句號 (Full Stop)
