'Edge' by HAIM is a 2013 track from 'Days Are Gone (Digital Deluxe Edition)'. The lyrics centre on a restless, self-protective kind of hurt, with the speaker repeating that they “couldn’t let it go”, even as hope fades and memories begin to feel overgrown. There is a sense of motion without resolution, a refusal to stop running because letting go would mean admitting it has already ended. The tone sits somewhere between stubborn devotion and weary acceptance, rendered through tight, propulsive lines.
"Edge" is a track by HAIM, from the album Days Are Gone (Digital Deluxe Edition), released 27th September 2013. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 20 articles about HAIM.
