Why dost thou linger ‘pon this heath?

Fork-tongued symphonies, wicked prophecies

Let not light reveal my clandestinity

Dark forces move and command with insidious hands unseen

I, the deceiver

I am the serpent ‘neath the flowers that bloom

I, the believer

Mind the voice inside

Pluck mine eyes from the skull and let blood reign o’er me

Venture silently, but curse inwardly

Doth the blade in my smile crush divinity?
