Lyrics

Take Me Back

If I could go back I would
Take me back, take me back
Oh darling, I can't speak sometimes
I'm lost on you, I try to hide it
Every night I close my eyes
And still see you sleeping to my right
And it's been so long now since you left
I try my best but can't forget
Now where my heart once used to be
There's just a hole you left for me, oh

If I could go back I would
Take me back, take me back
All these years misunderstood
Take me back

To the way it was
Before I lost it all, oh
If I could go back I would
Take me back, take me back

To the way it was
Before I lost it all, oh
If I could go back I would
Take me back, take me back

Oh, take me back to the good old days
To when you lay in my embrace
Before it all got so messed up
And still I'm bleeding out for love

If I could go back I would
Take me back, take me back
All these years misunderstood
Take me back

To the way it was
Before I lost it all, oh
If I could go back I would
Take me back, take me back

To the way it was
Before I lost it all, oh
If I could go back I would
Take me back, take me back
