About This Track

Aluna's voice carries the emotional weight of a relationship caught between departure and return. The track pivots on a simple, devastating tension: leaving is hard, but being left is harder still. Her lyrics move between resignation and longing, the repeated refrain "How do I get back to you?" becoming both question and plea, each iteration layering fresh urgency onto the last. The production from Skrillex and Diplo sits in the space between restraint and release. The song builds its case through repetition and texture rather than bombast, letting Aluna's vocal melody do the work of persuasion. By the bridge, the song has stripped itself down to its core admission: time wasted, regret tasted, the possibility of reconciliation close enough to hurt.

"To Ü" is a track by Jack Ü, from the album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, released 27th February 2015. Full lyrics are available below.

Lyrics

To Ü

[Verse: Aluna]

Believe me, I could live without you

But I really don't want to

Believe me, I could love without you

But I really don't need to

[Chorus: Aluna]

'Cause leavin' is the hardest thing to do

But being left is hard, yes it's true

But try coming back

How do I get back to you, to you, to you?

[Post-Chorus: Aluna]

How can I get back to you?

Let me get back to you

[Chorus: Aluna]

Leavin' is the hardest thing to do

But being left is harder, yes it's true

But try coming back

How do I get back to you, to you, to you?

How do I get back to you?

[Post-Chorus: Aluna]

How can I get back to you?

[Chorus: Aluna]

'Cause leavin' is the hardest thing to do

But being left is harder, yes it's true

But try coming back

How do I get back to you, to you, to you?

[Post-Chorus: Aluna]

How can I get back to you?

Let me get back to you

Let me get back to you

[Bridge: Aluna]

But I don't wanna face it

All this time that I wasted

It's so close, I can taste it

How can I get back to you?

How can I get back to you?

How can I get back to you?

How can I get back to you?

How can I get back to you?

How can I get back to you?

How can I get back to you?

How can I get back to you?

How can I get back to you?

[Outro]

'Cause leavin' is the hardest thing to do

But being left is harder, yes it's true

Yes it's true, yes it's true
