Lyrics

Holding Pattern

[Verse 1]

Holding pattern

Hesitation wounds

There’s big changes coming

I hope they get here soon, get here soon

[Verse 2]

Holding pattern

Something’s gotta give

History is dying

Future’s gotta live, gotta live

[Chorus]

Find a way to get paid everyday

Start the ride hold on tight

Take a pill, force yourself, make a call

Do it, it’s just your life

Get a grip, bust a move, cut the crap

Da da da da da da

Get it off, turn it on, plug it in

The future is waiting

[Verse 3]

Holding pattern

Today could be the day

Clean out all the closets

Gotta make some way, make some way

Get here soon

[Chorus]

Find a way to get paid everyday

Start the ride, hold on tight

Take a pill, force yourself, make a call

Do it, it’s just your life

[Bridge]

I march into the unknown

Swan dive into the void

Get up on that platform

The ego is getting annoyed

[Chorus]

Find a way to get paid everyday

Start the ride, hold on tight

Take a pill, force yourself, make a call

Do it, it’s just your life

Get a grip, bust a move, cut the crap

Da da da da da da

Turn it off, get it on, plug it in

The future is waiting

[Outro]

Get here soon

Get here soon

Get here soon

Get here soon

Get here soon

Get here soon

Get here soon

Get here soon
