About This Track

'Dreams' by Loreen is a 2017 pop track from the album 'Ride'. The lyrics describe a nightly fixation on someone present only in sleep, with the speaker insisting on keeping them in their dreams, repeating the idea with a hypnotic insistence. At times it feels like a private ritual of longing, where hearing their approach and seeing their face replaces waking contact, even as the speaker clings to the same promise. The overall tone is yearning and controlling, with devotion framed as something rehearsed every night.

"Dreams" is a track by Loreen, from the album Ride, released 24th November 2017. The track is 4:40 long. It's filed under Pop. Full lyrics are available below.

I hear you coming up to me
But I will never let you leave
I have to keep you in my dreams

Every night, I see your face
I hear your voice, I speak your name
But I will never let you leave
I have to keep you in my dreams
