About This Track

A love song built on the metaphor of moving mountains, 'Mountains' finds Labrinth and Sia trading verses over production from Diplo. The track celebrates devotion through grand gesture, with both artists pledging to overcome any obstacle for their subject. Labrinth's opening verses establish the tone of breathless admiration, whilst Sia's contributions anchor the chorus in something more grounded, her repetition of the title word turning it into a kind of mantra. The production sits somewhere between pop and dance, with enough space for the vocals to breathe and enough momentum to carry the song forward. What emerges is a straightforward love anthem, one that trades subtlety for directness and lets its central metaphor do most of the work. The result is effective enough: a track that knows what it wants to say and says it without apology.

"Mountains" is a track by LSD, from the album LABRINTH, SIA & DIPLO PRESENT... LSD, released 1st November 2018. Full lyrics are available below.

Lyrics

Mountains

[Verse 1: Labrinth, Sia & Both]

Heck yeah, I breathe you

Darlin', I see you

I hope you see me too

I want to know you

Here ain't no rocky ground

Yeah, I put one million down

When you walk, I kiss the ground

Hey, hey, I love you

[Chorus: Labrinth & Both]

So what we gotta lose? What we gotta move?

I move mountains (Sing)

I can see it through

I can do it too

Like a prophet (Sing, sing)

What we gotta lose? What we gotta move?

I move mountains

I'd do anything for you

Anything to move

Move mountains

Sing it!

[Post-Chorus: Sia]

Mountains, mountains

Mountains, mountains

Mountains, mountains

Mountains, mou-mou-mou

[Verse 2: Labrinth & Sia]

Lord, I am so blessed

'Cause you come with interest

Fill up my pockets

I want to own you

[Chorus: Labrinth & Both]

So what we gotta lose? What we gotta move?

I move mountains (Sing)

I can see it through

I can do it too

Like a prophet (Sing, sing)

What we gotta lose? What we gotta move?

I move mountains (Sing)

I'd do anything for you

Anything to move

Move mountains

Sing it!

[Post-Chorus: Sia]

Mountains, mountains

Mountains, mountains

Mountains, mountains

Mountains, mou-mou-mou
