About This Track

"Borders" is a track by Mekons, from the album It Is Twice Blessed, released 6th April 2018. Full lyrics are available below.

Lyrics

Borders

This song comes, comes from the other

This song comes to you from across the border

This song, gotta take a breath

This song, gotta take a breath

This song, gotta take a breath

The song comes from the other side of the border

The [?] runs all around the view

Guns and bombs and smoke and there’s no order

Things get pretty hairy over the border

Build that border high and build it strong

Guns and bombs and smoke and there’s no order

Turn around and look, see there’s a border

One that’s just been built behind thе view

Towers of [?] and steel over thе border

Listen to the laughter over the border

Wish I [?] the border [?]

Guns and bombs and smoke and there’s no order
