Lyrics

Down

[Intro: James Shaw]

I wondered if you could come and help me

I want to get from here to there

I wondered if you could come and help me

I want to get from here to there

[Verse 1: Emily Haines]

I saw your face looked down tonight

I only hope that you're alright

I know you think it's always you who

Needs some time alone, needs some time alone

[Chorus: Emily Haines, James Shaw]

To feel down

(I wondered if you could come and help me

I want to get from here to there)

To feel down

(I wondered if you could come and help me

I want to get from here to there)

[Verse 2: Emily Haines]

After tonight, another day

A chance to feel a different way

The sun is slowly changing sides

Still, sorrow in your eyes

Sorrow in your eyes

[Chorus: Emily Haines, James Shaw]

So feel down

(I wondered if you could come and help me

I want to get from here to there)

So feel down

(I wondered if you could come and help me

I want to get from here to there)

[Bridge: Emily Haines]

Heavy hearts swing low

Feel down, let go

[Chorus: Emily Haines, James Shaw]

So feel down (feel down, let go)

(I want to get from here to there)

So feel down (feel down, let go)

(I want to get from here to there)

Feel down (feel down, let go)

(I want to get from here to there)

So feel down (feel down, let go)

(I want to get from here to there)

[Outro: James Shaw]

I wondered if you could come and help me
