Bloc Party to perform 'Silent Alarm' as Metric revisit 'Fantasies' on tour
The bands will perform their landmark albums in full across major venues including Red Rocks and Forest Hills
Bloc Party and Metric have announced a joint US tour for 2025, marking significant anniversaries for both bands.
The tour will see Bloc Party performing their debut album 'Silent Alarm' in full to celebrate its 20th anniversary, alongside a selection of their greatest hits. Metric will be revisiting their album 'Fantasies', performing the 2009 release in its entirety along with tracks from their wider catalogue.
"INDIE DREAMS DO COME TRUE," Metric shared in a statement. "We're bringing 'FANTASIES' back to life this Spring! We will be performing the album in its entirety on an extra special limited tour of 13 cities. We're hitting some epic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver and Forest Hills in NYC on this run alongside our pals in Bloc Party, who will be performing their iconic album SILENT ALARM. Even better—our first headlining show in Toronto since 2022 will be at Budweiser Stage on Friday, June 6, with Bloc Party and our longtime friends The Dears opening the night."
The tour marks the first time the two bands have toured together since 2006. Bloc Party will headline all shows except for the Toronto date.
