'Stringers' by Momma is a 2020 alternative track from the album 'Two of Me'. The lyrics paint a grim, observational picture of people trafficked through anonymous work, where footage is collected and traded, and an identity is flattened into “a stringer”. There is a cold insistence in the repeated denial, turning the line between human and commodity into an argument carried out in plain sight. Twisted metal and public spectacle imagery do the heavy lifting, leaving the song fixated on how easily a life can be reduced to what can be bought, fed, and claimed.
"Stringers" is a track by Momma, from the album Two of Me, released 4th June 2020. The track is 2:51 long. It's filed under Alternative. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 11 articles about Momma.
