About This Track

MOTHICA’s 'I' is a 2022 Pop track from the album 'Nocturnal'. Set up as an address to a restless “little moth”, the lyrics speak in soothing, instructive terms, urging sleep and letting go of physical strain while holding onto a contrary tension of unresolved anger, with the closing line turning back to the act of shutting down. The overall tone is gently coaxing, like a personal reset ritual aimed at exhaustion and emotional backlog, all delivered in the language of routines rather than romance.

"I" is a track by MOTHICA, from the album Nocturnal, released 29th June 2022. The track is 0:39 long. It's filed under Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 3 articles about MOTHICA.

Lyrics

I

Hello little moth
It is time to turn your mind off for a good night's rest
According to your profile, you haven't slept well in 6,337 days
So, let's get started
It's important to let go of muscle tension
While keeping a simultaneous tight grip on your unresolved anger issues
Close your eyes and take a deep, deep breath in three, two, one
