About This Track

A love song built on doubt, 'Madness' finds Muse stripping back to electronic minimalism. Matthew Bellamy's voice sits high and clean over a restrained beat, the production letting space do the work. The song circles a single question: is this real love, or just compulsion keeping two people locked together?
