'Loading' finds Olamide in a state of intoxicated reverie, the track built on a hypnotic loop of its own title and a chorus that moves between English and Yoruba. Bad Boy Timz joins as featured guest, the two voices layering over a rhythm that feels both weightless and insistent. The song dwells in sensory disorientation, the repeated refrain "I can't feel my face no more, I can't feel my legs no more" capturing a particular kind of numbness, whilst the surrounding verses rattle through boasts and observations in rapid Yoruba. The production leans into dancehall textures, a sound that runs through much of 'Carpe Diem', the album from which this track is drawn. Olamide moves between reflection and bravado with ease, the song never settling into a single mood but instead drifting through states of excess and complaint, celebration and fatigue. It's a track that works best as immersion rather than statement, the repetition doing most of the work.
