'Darling' by Orchards is a 2018 pop track from the EP 'Losers/Lovers EP'. In the lyrics, the singer pleads for recognition from someone who cannot fully commit, framing trust as slow to arrive and self-worth as something tested by comparison. There is a wary, self-protective tone, captured in the line “at arm’s reach”, as they weigh what they can offer against what came before. The song sounds like a careful withdrawal from a relationship that still refuses to settle.
"Darling" is a single by Orchards, from the album Losers/Lovers EP, released 5th July 2018. The track is 3:50 long. It's filed under Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 1 article about Orchards.
